Are you ready to make a real impact? Join us as a Finance Business Partner – Property Services and help shape the future of social housing! This is your chance to be the go to financial expert for our Property Services and Strategic Asset Management teams. Your financial insights will directly influence how we maintain and improve our housing stock, ensuring long-term sustainability and value for our customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the key finance contact for the Property Services Directorate and Strategic Asset Management and provide expert financial support and advice.
  • Manage timely, accurate financial reports on property repairs, compliance, and capital investments.
  • Lead financial forecasting and support the annual budgeting process.
  • Provide in-depth analysis to highlight trends and spot areas for improvement.
  • Offer actionable insights that help drive better performance and decision-making.
  • Support investment in asset management strategies, including environmental initiatives for the sustainability of our housing stock.
  • Work closely with teams across the business, making sure financial information is clear and useful.

What We’re Looking for:
We are looking for a skilled finance professional with a strong background in business partnering. The ability to provide clear financial guidance, handle complex data analysis, and work collaboratively with non-financial teams is key to success in this role. You will need advanced Excel skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent communication skills to deliver high quality financial reporting and advice.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally in property or social housing.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for repairs, compliance, and capital investments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate financial info for both finance and non-finance teams.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in supporting and providing investment appraisals is desirable.
