Following a recent promotion within the team, Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a Planned Works Manager – Kitchen & Bathroom to oversee a circa £5m stock investment programme, ensuring high standards and timely project delivery. You will manage both internal teams and external contractors to ensure our properties meet the highest quality and compliance standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and deliver stock investment programmes for kitchen and bathroom renewals, ensuring efficiency and quality. 

  • Oversee a team of technicians, senior lead technicians, and sub-contractors, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards. 

  • Lead on contract administration, procurement, and health & safety compliance including CDM regulations. 

  • Ensure all Decent Homes Failures are addressed one year in advance. 

  • Conduct sub-contractor performance reviews and take action on underperformance. 

  • Maintain a customer-focused service, ensuring all projects meet agreed service levels and budgets. 

  • Support procurement strategies to maximise best value and efficiency from all contracts. 

  • Ensure effective management of Health & Safety risks and regulatory compliance. 

  • Develop and implement performance management systems to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Manage budgets effectively to optimise value and control costs while delivering high-quality outcomes. 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Proven experience in managing planned works programmes, preferably within social housing. 

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. 

  • Experience managing direct labour teams and subcontractors. 

  • Good understanding of kitchen & bathroom renewals, windows & doors, roofing, damp works, and external decorations. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents, stakeholders, and contractors. 

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to control budgets and drive cost efficiencies. 

  • IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel. 

  • Health & Safety knowledge, including CITB training (preferred).
